Change one area of an image and keep everything else
Paint over one area of a render or photo and describe what should be there instead: a different bench, an extra window, a removed car. Everything outside the painted area stays pixel-identical, so nothing else in the image can shift.
What you can upload
- Any render or photo
- Optionally, a photo of the exact object you want, such as a specific light fitting or bench
Options
- Area to change: paint a little past the edges of what should change; enlarge the image for fine work.
- What should change: a short instruction, for example "replace the car with a bike rack".
- Reference: up to two images of the object you want.
- Keep the rest pixel-identical: merges only the painted area back into your original.
How it works
- Upload the image and paint over the area to change.
- Describe the change in a sentence, and add a reference image if you have one.
- Generate, then compare with the original.
- Repeat on another area if needed: each edit leaves the rest of the image alone.
Tips for better results
- Paint slightly beyond the object so its shadow and edges are included.
- Describe the result, not the action: "a timber bench" works better than "change this".
- Use it to clean up a render before it goes to a client: stray artefacts, a wrong sign, an odd figure.
Questions
Does the rest of the image change?
No. With "Keep the rest pixel-identical" switched on, only the painted area is replaced and merged back into your original.
Can I remove objects?
Yes. Paint over the object and describe what should be there instead, for example "empty paving".
Can I add a specific product?
Yes. Upload a photo of it as a reference and describe where it goes.

Other tools
- Render: Upload a SketchUp or Rhino screenshot, a hand sketch, an elevation or a floor plan and get a photorealistic architectural render that keeps your geometry.
- Relight: Same building, same camera, different light.
- Materials & Style: Replace one material in an architectural image, such as brick, timber cladding, concrete, zinc or terracotta, while everything else stays put, or restyle the whole image to match reference images.
- Entourage & Landscape: Bring an architectural render to life with correctly scaled people, vehicles, trees and landscape, and optionally sharpen the detail.
