Turn a model view, sketch or plan into a finished render
Upload a screenshot from SketchUp, Rhino or Revit, a hand sketch, an elevation or a plan. Render Studio keeps your geometry and adds materials, light and context, so you get a client-ready image without setting up a rendering engine.
What you can upload
- A white or clay massing model, straight from your modelling software
- A hand sketch or a scanned concept drawing
- A line drawing or an elevation
- A floor plan, rendered as a furnished top-down view
Options
- Scene: exterior, interior, or aerial and site views.
- Look: photorealistic, editorial architectural photography, a soft competition render, or a watercolour illustration.
- Geometry: keep it exactly, keep it and refine the details, or allow a creative interpretation.
- Style references: up to three images whose materials, light and mood the render should match.
- Notes: anything specific: "timber soffit, warm evening light, wet pavement".
How it works
- Upload your view and say what it is: a massing model, sketch, line drawing or plan.
- Choose interior or exterior, the look and how strictly the geometry must be kept.
- Pick a resolution (1K, 2K or 4K) and how many variations you want, then generate.
- Download the result, or send it straight on to Relight, Materials & Style or Entourage.
Tips for better results
- Export the model view at the camera angle you want in the final image: the render keeps the framing.
- For early massing studies, use "Keep exactly" so proportions do not drift.
- One or two reference images of a finished project are the quickest way to get a consistent house style.
Questions
Which software can I render from?
Any. Render Studio works from an image, so a screenshot from SketchUp, Rhino, Revit, ArchiCAD, Blender or a scanned hand sketch all work the same way. There is no plug-in to install.
Does it change my design?
With "Keep exactly" the render follows your geometry and only adds materials, light and context. "Creative interpretation" lets the model take more freedom, which is useful for early concept images.
How much does a render cost?
Each image uses credits according to its resolution: 1K and 2K cost one credit, 4K costs two. New accounts get free credits once the email address is confirmed.
Credits
New accounts get free credits once the email address is confirmed. Each image uses credits according to its resolution, and if an image cannot be made its credits are returned automatically. See how to get more credits.
Other tools
- Relight: Same building, same camera, different light.
- Materials & Style: Replace one material in an architectural image, such as brick, timber cladding, concrete, zinc or terracotta, while everything else stays put, or restyle the whole image to match reference images.
- Entourage & Landscape: Bring an architectural render to life with correctly scaled people, vehicles, trees and landscape, and optionally sharpen the detail.
- Local Edit: Paint over one area of a render or photo and describe the change: a different bench, a new window, a removed car.
